it's all handcrafted by one person.
Each Mint & Birch piece starts out as sheets of precious metal and cut into bars by hand. I file each one to create smooth, sleek lines and they are polished individually using only old fashioned manual hand tools, and no machines. The nostalgia and sentimentality of the Mint & Birch bar necklace can be felt in your hands when you open your Mint box!
Hand lettered pieces are some of my favourite pieces to do. You ask me to hand letter and draw your names or words, and I provide a few designs for you to pick from! Each one is unique to you and drawn with a pencil or calligraphy dip ink pen!
Whether your story contains joy, pain, triumph, tribulations past, current or future - you are the centre of your story. Your story is worthy. You are worthy. I don't take it lightly when someone asks me to commemorate any part of their story turning Mint & Birch into a passion project means that I will be able to provide more one-on-one attention for each person as we celebrate your story together.
